Within our indoor warehouse facility we various size units which can be combined to accommodate larger volumes. Outdoors, we have the steel shipping containers which are 20ft long. These provide approx 160 sq. ft. of internal space.
How do I know what size unit I need?
If you let us know what items you're looking to store, we'll work out the volume and be able to advise what size unit you will require. If coming into storage as part of a house move combined with our removals service, we'll calculate this when we take inventory of what's to be moved.

Do you have any tips for packing fit for storage?
9 times out of 10 people end up having there belongings in storage longer than they planned. Here's some tips for packing for an open-ended, upcoming storage stay:
1) Clearly label everything
If your belongings are tucked away for months, it's easy to forget what exactly is in each box. Some clear labelling and descriptions can make things much easier at the other end, and it'll let our team know which room to put each item into on delivery.
2) Take inventory
Leading on from tip 1, it's a good idea to take inventory of what goes into storage. If your trying to lay hands on something weeks down the line, you could refer back to your records to see whether it went into storage. It could also help you plan the layout of your new home or office.
3) Donate, de-clutter and ditch!
Get rid of anything you no longer want before you go into storage. This will reduce the amount of storage space you need, and therefore your ongoing storage costs.
4) Think ahead...
As most stay in storage longer than they thought, it's worth thinking what you may need in the upcoming months rather than weeks. That could be documents, decorations, clothes for the upcoming season or suitcases for holiday.
5) Pack into plastic boxes
Plastic boxes are better for storage (over a long period of time) as they do not sag, lose stability, or allow naturally occurring odours to penetrate. You can also reuse them.
6) Use disposable dehumidifiers
Anything stored which holds natural moisture, such as cotton, is going to emit the moisture over a period of time. When boxed and in a confined space, there is little ventilation for that moisture which can result in a musty smell. Putting a disposable dehumidifier into a plastic box can help trap that moisture.
We speak from personal experience here, having stored the contents of our entire home for over 12 months. We used a disposable dehumidifier from The Range in plastic boxes containing wax coats, leather bags and wool scarves and did not experience any odours.
7) Ensure everything is clean and dry
Again this can prevent encouraging unwanted odours, soiling of nearby belongings and prevent mould or mildew from thriving.
What can't you take into storage?
We cannot accept any of the following into any of our storage facilities;
- Any stolen, prohibited or illegal goods, firearms, ammunition or explosives (obviously!)

No, you can opt out. Unlike many of the storage chain providers, our liability cover is optional.
Can I use my own home insurance?
This question would be best directed to your home or business insurance provider, as it will depend on their policy with you.
How do I calculate the amount of insurance I need?
To work this out, you should consider what you will be storing in your unit and bear in mind that this amount may vary over time. Once you have decided what's going into store, you need to calculate what it would cost to replace these items. Insurance for removers & storers works on a 'like for like' basis, so when you are configuring these costs, consider what your item is worth in it's current, second hand state opposed to what you paid for it new.
Can I opt out of insurance to begin with, and add it later? Or vice versa?
Yes absolutely.
