Your quotation is based on several factors such as;
- The volume of items to be moved
- The type, style & weight of items to be moved (pianos, XL furniture & other specialist items require more time to maneuver and moving equipment)
- The vehicle & foot access into each property
- The floor level or number of floors in total
- Additional collection or delivery addresses
- Any additional services required such as dismantling, reassembly & packing services
- Whether an overnight stop out will be required if moving long distance
We don't quote based on number of bedrooms because it simply doesn't work. No two properties have the same moving requirements.
Yes absolutely! Move dates are often issued very last minute, so we always recommend getting a quote well before dates are discussed. This way, you can line up plan A, B and C and avoid unnecessary, last minute panic.

Yes, so we can ensure your quote is properly provisioned for your move. If not assessed thoroughly by our estimators we could be arriving under-equipped on move day. This will undoubtedly cause stress on move day and may prevent us from emptying your property in time which can put you in breach of contract.
If significantly more, we cannot guarantee we will be able to move the surplus. If we are able to accommodate, we will agree an additional charge with yourself inline with your original quote.

We have an extensive public liability policy, alongside Goods In Transit insurance for all aspects of removals and courier work. You can opt to increase the baseline cover for extra peace of mind - or not - if you feel there is no substantial value to cover. It's entirely up to you. All vehicles are equipped with plenty of removals blankets, straps and rails, to ensure you items do not move around during the journey, or become knocked, damaged or scratched. We have a range of additional protection materials & services available to all.
9 times out of 10 it will be sent via email shortly after your home visit or video call, and certainly within 24 hours.
We tend to book up 1-2 weeks in advance. Lots of people get in touch to chat to us about their house move before they even have a date - this is great! The more notice we have, the more likely we will have space in our diary to accommodate your move.
